Valdivieso Sparkling Dry Wine

An approachable sparkling wine from Chile. A smooth taste thanks to the blend of chardonnay and sémillon. The Valdivieso winery was the first in South America to start producing sparkling wines in 1879. A hundred years later, in 1980, the family began making still wines. Their philosophy is to use the best possible grapes and to preserve the aromatic and flavour qualities of the grapes as much as possible. Thus, the taste of oak ageing should never be too dominant. With the ideal wine climate in Chile and great care for the grapes, the house now produces wonderful wines that have won many international awards. But perhaps most importantly, an excellent price/quality ratio is characteristic of all their wines.
