Widow Amiot Dry
The wine comes from the French Saumur, in the Loire Valley, where wines have been made since the 17th century. The sparkling wines of Veuve Amiot are produced according to the world-famous "Traditional Method." Because the grapes do not come from the Champagne region, these are called Saumur wines. Here, on the low chalky hillsides in the Loire, the grapes for Veuve Amiot grow under perfect conditions. Only top-quality grapes of the varieties Chenin, Cabernet, and Chardonnay may be used. Serve chilled in a flute glass. Veuve Amiot is a sparkling wine for all festive occasions. The wine comes from the French Saumur, in the Loire Valley, where wines have been made since the 17th century with a natural sparkle and elegance. In the picturesque village of Saint-Hilaire-Saint-Florent, right next to the town of Saumur, the Saumur wineries lie side by side in harmony.
