Zonin Valpolicella Ripasso
This Ripasso Superiore from Zonin is made from the traditional grapes of the Valpolicella region: 70% Corvina, 20% Rondinella and 10% Molinara. These grapes are used to make a fruity and aromatic wine. Only four months later this wine undergoes a second fermentation. This time, the wine is kept in contact for 20 days with the must (skins, pips and stems) of the famous Amarone wine. As a result, the wine gains power, complexity and tannins, without losing its youthful, fruity character. After this, the wine ages for another 18 months in oak barrels.
