• 200 g low-fat cottage cheese
• 3 eggs (M)
• 25 ml water (3 tablespoons)

Electric oven: 160°C
Fan oven: 150°C
Combi oven: 160°C
Gas oven: position 2-3
Preparation time
Preparation: approximately 10 minutes
Baking time: approximately 60 minutes
Preparation method
1. Place the rack slightly below the center of the oven and preheat the oven.
2. Grease the cake tin with butter or baking spray (e.g. Dr. Oetker) and dust the inside with flour.
3. Weigh 200 grams (= 200 ml) low-fat cottage cheese into a mixing bowl and add 25 ml of water (3 tbsp).
4. Add the cake mix and 3 eggs at once.
5. Mix everything with the mixer on the lowest setting until you have a smooth batter.
6. Then beat the batter with the mixer on the highest setting for 3 minutes until it becomes a light batter.
7. Pour the batter into the cake tin.
8. Bake the cake for about 60 minutes until done and golden brown.
9. Remove the cake from the mold and let it cool on a rack for an hour.
Tips & variations
Cake done? Insert a skewer into the center of the cake with a skewer. When the skewer comes out clean, the cake is done.
Storage tip
Let the cake cool thoroughly and store the cake in a closed container (not in a plastic bag) for up to 5 days.
