The Conimex boemboe for Sajoer Boontjes is a herb paste made with, among other things, coconut and red peppers. With this boemboe, you make a delicious sweet, spiced green bean dish from Indonesian cooking. Boemboes are concentrated wet herb blends from Asia. They are made from finely ground herbs and spices. With a boemboe, you easily give the authentic eastern taste, aroma, and colour to meat, chicken, and vegetable dishes. Conimex boemboes come in various flavours. Also try one of the other boemboes: Bami Goreng, Green Curry, Nasi Goreng, Red Curry, Rendang Meat, Javanese Green Beans, Ajam Paniki, or Ajam Smoor.
Preparation:
Add yourself: 500 g green beans (halved), 300 g rice, and stir-fry oil.
Cook the rice and parboil the green beans for 5 minutes. Stir-fry the green beans for about 2 minutes in 2 tablespoons of stir-fry oil. Add the boemboe and 200 ml water. Let it simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. Serve with the rice.
