Monte Vannos Ribera del Duero DO

This 2022 Ribera del Duero is made from 95% Tempranillo and 5% Merlot, sourced from high-altitude vineyards at 850 metres in San Juan del Monte, Quintana del Pidio and Anguix. The wine aged for six months in a mix of French and American oak barrels

Intense ruby red with purple highlights. On the nose you’ll find ripe aromas of strawberry, cherries and black plums, combined with notes of vanilla, coconut, toasted coffee and spices. On the palate it’s full and rounded, with soft tannins, fresh acidity and a long, modern finish

Food pairing tip: Excellent with spiced leg of lamb, roasted aubergine with peppers, or a sharing board with Manchego, chorizo and toasted almonds
