  A super affordable Champagne. Champagne may only be called Champagne if it comes from the Champagne region. Characteristic of Champagne is the second fermentation in the bottle, which creates the bubbles. 'Regular' wine is bottled and then a liqueur de tirage is added to this bottled bottle: a mixture of sugar and yeast cells dissolved in wine. This ensures a second fermentation during which the bubbles are created. By maturing on the yeast cells for at least 15 months, the sparkling wine gets a richer taste. * Type: Champagne
