Bodegas Berberana has been around for almost a century and a half. Miguel Martinez de Berberana settled in 1877 in Olauri, in the heart of the Rioja. The original wine cellar is still there, but the company now has more branches, also outside the Rioja. What once started as a family business is now an international player of stature. The nice thing about Berberana is that the company continues to present traditional wines such as the Rioja Crianza and Reserva as classic dinner wines, but with the Dragon series, the everyday wines, they are completely in line with today's taste. They are full-fruity and smooth, for this way and at the table, and they are delicious both slightly chilled and at room temperature.
