Benedict Blend Côtes du Rhône
0.75 Liter
Because this fresh rosé from the Rhône has some firmness, it pairs perfectly with food. The French themselves do this as well. Grilled vegetables, tuna, or lamb kebab: it can handle it all. Also nice on its own. Colour, taste: rosé, dry Grape variety: grenache, syrah, cinsault Country, region: France, Rhône Good with: Salad, Chicken Awarded: De Grote Hamersma 8 Vignerons de l’Enclave is a cooperative with about 2500 winegrowers. They own vineyards spread across the entire Rhône area. The winemakers therefore have grapes from different soils from which they create the ideal blend. For this rosé they use grenache, syrah, and cinsault, varieties common in the southern part of the Rhône. This Cuvée Benedikt is dry with some red fruit and a pinch of Mediterranean herbs. Its pleasantly crisp, firm style is typically French because this wine is drunk at the table in France. With crudités (raw vegetables with a dip), shrimp, fish soup, salade niçoise, pasta... actually with anything you especially crave in summer. Also good on its own!
