In the Netherlands we mainly eat cod fillets, but did you know you can use almost everything from this fish? The cheeks, the tongue, and the liver, for example, contain a lot of vitamins A and D, and more omega-3 than any other part of the fish. On average, about 30% of the omega-3 fatty acids are found in the oil and about 15% in the liver. So if you want to get the full benefit, you should also consume the oil. This variety from Iceland is known as one of the best in the world.
