Make your own fresh fries at home with these potatoes for fries. These slightly floury potatoes stay fairly firm while cooking, but have a fluffy texture. Taste: For the tastiest crispy fries.
Storage: Store potatoes in a cool, dark place.
Preparation: Preferably peel these potatoes.
Deep fryer (160 °C–180 °C): cut fries from the raw potatoes, rinse them and dry them in a cloth. Pre‑fry a maximum of 400 grams of fries for 5 minutes at 160 °C and let the fries cool. Then finish frying for 3–4 minutes at 180 °C.
Frying pan: boil the potatoes for about 15 minutes until almost cooked, then cut into wedges. Heat (olive) oil in a frying pan and fry the potato wedges over high heat for about 10 minutes until golden brown, turning regularly.
