Heinz Tomato Polpa is made from the best quality sun-ripened tomatoes grown exclusively outdoors. Heinz Tomato Polpa consists of tomatoes that are packed within 48 hours after harvest to guarantee freshness and a thick texture. The tomatoes are peeled, the seeds are removed, and the tomato pulp is finely chopped to preserve the rich flavour. This is the perfect base for any dish, but especially for dishes that need to cook longer or are prepared at high temperatures (such as in the oven). Our Heinz tomatoes are Grown, not Made and therefore contain no added flavourings or preservatives, while retaining their natural taste—and you can taste it!
