Hertog Jan Autumn Bock Beer

The first beer brewed in autumn, using the new hop and barley harvest. In Arcen, we wanted to brew such a beautiful beer too. So we brewed the first Dutch Bockbier as a top-fermented beer, instead of bottom-fermented. Our Hertog Jan Bockbier is still one of the most highly regarded bock beers among connoisseurs. It combines a pleasantly bittersweet taste with a beautiful ruby-red colour. You can also store our Bockbier for a little longer, allowing the flavour to develop even further.
