Shopping list for Dürüm:
225 g chicken breast (cubes), 250 g pointed cabbage, 1 onion, 1 red bell pepper, 1 yellow bell pepper, 1 apple, 150 ml low-fat yoghurt, and oil
Preparation:
1. Cut the chicken breast into cubes. Mix the spice mix with 2 tablespoons of oil and marinate the chicken cubes in this for about 10 minutes. Then cut the bell peppers and apple into cubes. Finely chop the onion and cut the pointed cabbage into thin strips.
2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a frying pan and fry the chicken cubes until golden brown and cooked through. Add the onion and bell peppers and fry for about 2 minutes. Add the apple and warm for 1 minute.
3. Remove the dürüm breads from the packaging and warm them for 30 seconds in the microwave (650 W). Mix the sauce mix with 150 ml yoghurt and stir well.
4. Spread half of the yoghurt sauce over the dürüm breads. Distribute the chicken mixture over them and fold them closed. Mix the other half of the yoghurt sauce with the pointed cabbage. Serve the Dürüm and the salad separately.
Tip: Replace the chicken breast with a pack of Chicken Pieces from The Vegetarian Butcher. Cut them smaller if desired. Follow the preparation method below. In step 2, fry the Chicken Pieces briefly until golden brown; they are already cooked. Or replace with 200 g chickpeas (canned) and fry them briefly in step 2.
