La Motte Sauvignon blanc

0.75 l

    Extra information

    Wine

What an invigorating wine this is, ideal as an aperitif. It is also a fine example of a delicious sauvignon blanc from South Africa. This means that it has the characteristic French Sauvignon aromas of grass and green apple with a South African hint of pineapple and passion fruit. Everything in the right proportion. The acids are fresh and lively. The name of the winery La Motte refers to a place in Provence: La Motte-Daigues. This was the birthplace of the Frenchman who planted the first four vines in Franschhoek in 1752. Since then, La Motte has had a reputation as a winery.
