La Palma Chardonnay

A delicious Chardonnay full of peach and yellow apple fruit. Flavourful white wine! Founded in 1824, Viña la Rosa is one of Chile’s oldest wineries. In 1824, Don Francisco Ignacio decided to buy a hacienda for his firstborn son. He fell in love with the beautiful landscape of the Cachapoal Valley, 120 kilometres south of Santiago. He bought the hacienda from Chile’s first president, Manual Encalada. The purchase included not only the farm, but also wine barrels, cellars and grapevines imported from France. Since then, the family has devoted itself with great passion to viticulture. The sixth generation is now at the helm of this winery.
