Only 4 ingredients transformed into delicious spreadable butter. To make Lurpak spreadable unsalted, we start our recipe with Lurpak butter from 100% fresh Danish milk. Because we know that you would like to use Lurpak butter spreadable straight from the refrigerator, we only add some rapeseed oil and just enough water. That's it. With Lurpak spreadable unsalted you can turn the simplest sandwiches into something amazing. Toast, freshly baked baguette, sourdough, crackers - get ready! The process for our Lurpak butter starts with approximately 20 kg of Danish whole milk from which 1 kg of butter is made. The most valuable and tasty part of the milk, the cream, is 'matured' with great care, after which it is turned into butter. Lactic acid cultures are added to give a fresh and slightly aromatic taste to the creamy character that provides the characteristic Lurpak taste. That's it. Nothing more than a pinch of salt is added to our lightly salted butter varieties.
