This wine was introduced in 1993 in response to a worldwide demand for a white wine from Penfolds. The red wines had been known for years and were particularly popular because of their very good price-quality ratio. The market also wanted to see this in a white wine. The result is a beautiful chardonnay wine with many primary fruit aromas and good concentration. Aging for several months in small French oak barrels has given the wine complexity and a beautiful creamy taste. * Awarded: Hamersma, 8.5
