Saint Emilion Merlot Cabernet Franc

This is a robust St. Emilion, made mainly from Merlot grapes. Right now this red wine is still young. If you leave it to rest a bit longer, the wine will become slightly smoother in taste and even richer. Can you wait a little longer…? St. Emilion is located on the “right bank”, as it’s called, in Bordeaux. Here the wines are made mainly from Merlot, often supplemented with Cabernet Franc. This is in contrast to the “left bank”, the Médoc, where Cabernet Sauvignon is the main grape variety.
