Solatio Sparkling White Wine

Fun party wine. It has a gentle sparkle in your mouth. That’s because it’s a frizzante and not a spumante, which has just as much mousse as champagne. In any case, gently sparkling frizzantes are the wines that Italians in Veneto drink at lunchtime with a crunchy focaccia topped with mozzarella or tuna. They taste fresh and fruity and feel nice and light thanks to their low alcohol content. The spumantes are kept in Italy for the aperitif or, even more often, as a festive bubbly to round off a cosy dinner.
