After this foundation, I also developed myself as a head butcher and self-employed butcher within the supermarket sector. Throughout all these professional developments, I mainly remained myself, and the following aspects have always been important to me: honesty, passion for meat, and attention to my surroundings and to people. When I started my own butcher’s shop in Marum, Groningen, together with my wife in 2012, I was able to bring all these aspects together. Our butcher’s shop is characterized above all by quality, attention to the customer, and purity.
