Like many other cold cuts from Klaver, this fricandeau is made according to original recipes that have been sold in the butcher’s shop for many years. It is seasoned by hand and then slowly roasted in the oven. Delightfully tender and juicy bite. Fine, spicy flavour. Heat the fricandeau and serve it with peanut satay sauce on a bread roll. Butcher Arie Klaver comes from a family of six brothers and four sisters. About 24 years ago he started his own shop in the Makado shopping centre.
