Klaas-theo has the butcher's trade in his genes. From an early age he knew that he would take over the craftsmanship from his father and thus continue the long tradition in the family of butchers. At the butcher's school it became clear that he had a lot of talent for the craft of making sausages and meat products. As the best in his class, he was chosen to participate in the European professional competitions. During his years as a butcher, he has also won many prizes with his tasty products, with his crowning achievements being winning the most prestigious professional competitions (best butcher in the Netherlands) and winning the tastiest meatball in the Netherlands. He now manages one of the leading butchers in the Northern Netherlands in Dokkum. The butcher's shop has its origins in 1974 in the small village of Ternaard on the Wadden coast and has now grown into a hyper-modern butcher's shop with traditional production space in the Frisian eleven-city city of Dokkum.
