Excellent Chicken Stew
This chicken ragout is made from lean, cooked chicken breast in a smooth cream sauce with mushrooms. Made according to the traditional butcher’s recipe of Jack Keulen. Just warm it up in a pan or microwave (4 minutes at 900w). This dish is delicious with a puff pastry shell or a rice dish with pineapple. My name is Jack Keulen. The village butcher shop of Hulsberg has been in the family for many years. In 1983, my wife Tonny and I took over the butcher shop from my parents. I have always had a great passion for the butcher’s craft. Over the years, my craftsmanship has been recognized several times. Best butcher shop in the Netherlands 2000-2001, chosen as a 3-star butcher shop 2015-2016, and winner of the golden butcher’s ring are some examples. Richly filled, creamy chicken ragout in a smooth cream sauce with mushrooms. A true classic. Easy to prepare, just warm it up in a pan. This dish is delicious with a puff pastry shell.
