I took over the butcher shop from my father Jack. The village butcher shop of Hulsberg has been in the family’s hands for many years. In 1983, Jack and his wife Tonny took over the butcher shop from his parents. I have always had a great passion for the butcher’s craft. My craftsmanship has been honoured several times over the years. Best butcher shop in the Netherlands 2000-2001, chosen as a 3-star butcher shop 2015-2016, and winner of the golden butcher’s ring are some examples of this.
