Vleeschmeester has received an EU recognition from the NVWA, which guarantees compliance with the obligations of the European Union regarding food safety. It also holds several permits, including a hospitality (horeca) licence. Vleeschmeester is a full member of the National Franchise Association and has also been recognised as the best training company in the Netherlands. It is a member of the Royal Dutch Butchers Association and a member of Koninklijke Horeca Nederland (Royal Dutch Hospitality Association). What makes this butcher’s shop unique? The shop in Rotterdam Hillegersberg is unique. As the home base and pilot store of the franchise formula, all new developments are launched and tested here. This location houses production and distribution for the branches, but thanks to the EU recognition it also supplies third parties, such as hospitality businesses, restaurants, caterers, etc. The shop also has a hospitality (horeca) licence and is more than just a butcher’s shop. In addition to the butcher’s shop and production, this branch also operates a hospitality business.
