Delicious autumn product. A sweet twist with cranberries. A genuine regional specialty. Also tasty straight from the hand. Jean and Roos Cox have been running our butcher’s shop for almost 18 years in the Brusselse Poort shopping centre in Maastricht, and they do so very successfully. They are highly driven and truly passionate about the butcher’s trade. In their shop they produce many products themselves and focus above all on convenience with exceptional quality. In 2021 they relocated the entire butcher’s shop and rebuilt it to the most modern standards. A beautiful butcher’s shop in a fantastic location, where you can almost always find one of the owners. The combination with the Bufkes sandwich concept completes the picture and is a household name in the region. Strassbourger Cranberries uses the dough of our delicious meat pie as a base. Nicely seasoned according to a traditional recipe and genuinely baked in the oven. The combination with the sweetness and the distinctive flavour of candied cranberries makes this deli meat extra special, great-looking, and above all very tasty. The product is ready for immediate consumption. There are different types of cranberries for sale, and we choose the very best. You can taste that—and you can see it too. The seasoning is original d’Alsace, where the original Strassbourger naturally also comes from. Delicious on bread or toast, and also suitable as a snack. Apple syrup! An ordinary sandwich is transformed into a tasty luxury sandwich with a bit of rocket, Strassbourger Cranberries, a boiled egg, and a thin layer of Rinse apple syrup.
