The Valdivieso winery was the first winery in South America to start producing sparkling wines in 1879. One hundred years later, in 1980, the family started making still wines. Their philosophy is to use the best possible grapes and to keep the aromatic and taste characteristics of the grapes intact as much as possible. For example, the taste of wood aging should never be too dominant. With the ideal wine climate in Chile and the great care for the grapes, the house now produces great wines that have won many international stars. But perhaps most importantly, an excellent price/quality ratio characterizes all their wines.
