Valdivieso Chardonnay Winemaker Reserva

This Chardonnay has a wonderful aroma of fresh pineapple combined with citrus, with a smooth, almost creamy taste that finishes in a refreshing aftertaste. What a delightful white wine from Chile. Delicious with salmon. But then again, why wait until you sit down at the table... The Valdivieso winery was the first winery in South America to start producing sparkling wines, back in 1879. A hundred years later, in 1980, the family began making still wines. Their philosophy is to use the best possible grapes and to preserve the aromatic and flavour characteristics of the grapes as much as possible. For example, the taste of oak ageing must never be too dominant. Thanks to Chile’s ideal wine climate and the great care given to the grapes, the winery now produces outstanding wines that win many international awards. But perhaps most important of all is that an excellent price/quality ratio is characteristic of all their wines.
