Valdivieso Malbec Central Valley

The New Zealand winemaker Brett David Jackson makes this wine from 100% Malbec grapes from Curico Valley. This wine region lies 200 kilometres south of Santiago de Chile and is known for its relatively cool winters and warm summers. The Malbec Winemaker Reserva is dark purple in colour. You taste berries, cherries, chocolate and violets. The wine has been in contact with French and American oak, but the fruitiness comes first. Delicious with lamb, steak or pork chops.
