Valdivieso Sauvignon Blanc

In this Sauvignon Blanc you can recognize the scent of green and yellow apples alongside gooseberries. The taste is wonderfully fresh and juicy, again with gooseberries and passion fruit. A tasty white Chilean wine to enjoy with drinks and goat’s cheese. The Valdivieso winery was the first in South America to start producing sparkling wines, back in 1879. A hundred years later, in 1980, the family began making still wines. Their philosophy is to use the best possible grapes and to preserve the aromatic and flavour characteristics of the grapes as much as possible. For example, the taste of barrel ageing should never be too dominant. Thanks to Chile’s ideal wine climate and the great care devoted to the grapes, the estate now produces outstanding wines that win many international awards. But perhaps most important of all is that an excellent price/quality ratio is a hallmark of all their wines.
