This juicy, full rosé is one from Vinas del Vero's new line called Luces. We have 3 of them in the range: this rose and a white and red wine. They are all made from 3 grape varieties. For the rose, these are merlot, tempranillo and syrah. In the mix they provide a range of aromas of all kinds of juicy summer fruits with some spiciness. That combination makes it delicious to drink as it is and suitable for eating, for example with spicy tapas and everything from the BBQ or grill plate. Something about the name: Luces means light and refers to the landscape in Somontano with its clear blue sky, many hours of sunshine and, in the background, the snow-white peaks of the Pyrenees. The invigorating, refreshing taste is characteristic of this northern Spanish area.
