The Wild Pig wines are all about fun, you can tell that from the bottle. Winemaker Veronique Torcolacci: Wild Pigs are wines that you drink with friends, with a drink or barbecue. Of course the taste of the wine has to be good, but it is also worth something if the bottle looks nice and people start to like our Greta a bit. This lady has given me sleepless nights by eating the best grapes just before harvest. She knew flawlessly where the best ones were. In the beginning she outsmarted us, but those days are over. The grapes are now protected and I am happy to see the boar families strolling around the vineyards. They do belong here.
