Het ecri washandje met ophanglusje is stevig, lekker dik (550 gram katoen per m²), zacht en droogt goed. Onze ontwerpers hebben voor een geribbelde structuur gekozen, omdat deze minder pluisjes in je wasmachine en droger achterlaat. Dat is niet alleen beter voor je handdoek, maar ook voor deze apparaten. Zo gaan beide langer mee. In deze washand gaat iets meer werk zitten dan in een ‘gewone washand’. De prijs van de washand is dan ook gebaseerd op het productieproces met gerecycled garen, de geribbelde structuur en het gewicht. Door grondstoffen opnieuw te gebruiken, hebben we samen een positieve impact op het milieu. Zo is er 140 liter water en 0.4m² meer ruimte en grond beschikbaar om voedsel te verbouwen in plaats van katoenplantjes. Dat scheelt in gebruik van landbouwmachines en bespaart daardoor 0.1 kg CO₂.
