The winery has a long history dating back to 1685. There have been good and bad times, but since 1990 it has been doing excellently. The people who took over then have focused on growing sémillon, sauvignon blanc, and chardonnay. These three white varieties benefit in Constantia from the eastern location of the vineyards and the cool sea breeze, which allows them to ripen evenly and retain their fresh acids. This Sémillon is full and rounded thanks to fermentation and aging in French oak barrels. Its taste is fresh with the fragrance of exotic fruit, white peach, and yellow apple. Wonderful to enjoy at your leisure and perfect with mussels in curry sauce, pork tenderloin with a creamy mushroom sauce, and vegetable lasagna.
