With this community coffee we have taken new steps within the coffee chain: our buyer buys the beans for this specialty coffee directly from the farmers of Red Ecolsierra in Colombia.

With this coffee we have taken new steps within our coffee chain. We have made the chain as short as possible, with our buyer Mark purchasing the coffee beans directly from Red Ecolsierra: a small fair trade coffee cooperative in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta mountains in Colombia. 100% of the beans in this original blend come from here. The direct collaboration means an original coffee for you and a higher price for the coffee farmer. For every kilo of coffee that we purchase directly from the farmer, we now also pay an extra impact premium of 44 euro cents on top of the fair trade and organic premium, which is unique. With this amount we invest together with you in the community behind your coffee.
This is how your coffee will be the tastiest: the special character of these beans comes into its own when you brew them with care. They work perfectly in your espresso machine, but if you grind them at home and brew them 'slow', even more nuances in the taste emerge.
