The grapes are grown by farmers who have lived in the region for generations and bring their harvest, all or part of it, to the cooperative. The winegrowers are members of 'Les Vignerons de Narbonne', the company where their harvest is processed. The grapes come from vineyards scattered throughout the area. Because each vineyard provides grapes with specific qualities, the winemakers of the cooperative can create an ideal blend and make delightful wines, such as this 'Wooded Chardonnay'. Here you can clearly experience the influence of the oak aging. You taste it in the vanilla-like flavor and feel it in its soft texture. This is a wonderful wine to enjoy just like that. At the table, it pairs well with fish and chicken with sauce, (vegetarian) curry, and spicy cheeses.
