Kasteelbier Bruin

330 ml

    Extra information

    Top fermented beer.

The history of the Ingelmunster brewery starts in 1900. Emiel and Louisa Van Honsebrouck then buy a small farm where they set up a brewery. The brewery remains in family ownership when Paul and Ernest Van Honsebrouck succeed the two founders in 1922. Mainly bottom-fermented beers are brewed, such as lager, brown and export. The brewery had its breakthrough in 1953. Luc Van Honsebrouck succeeded Paul and Ernest and the brewery became known thanks to his ideas. Soon the different types of beers follow each other. After Bacchus and Gueuze St. Louis come Kriek Lambic, Pêche, Framboise, Cassis, Brigand and Kasteelbier. The latter is one of the heavier beers produced by the Van Honsebrouck brewery.
