Usage
Preparation: REQUIREMENTS: • 1 pack of Koopmans Marble Cake. • 150g butter or margarine. • 4 eggs (M). • 50 ml water (5 tablespoons) (all at room temperature. KITCHEN EQUIPMENT: • Cake tin 30cm. • Mixer with whisks. OVEN TEMPERATURE: Electric Oven: 180°C. Fan Oven: 160°C. Gas oven: Position 4. Electric oven recommended. PREPARATION TIME: Preparation: ±10 minutes. Baking time: 60-65 Minutes PREPARATION: 1. Place the rack slightly below the center of the oven and preheat the oven. 2. Grease the cake tin with butter and lightly dust the inside with flour or use baking spray (e.g. Dr. Oetker). PREPARE THE VANILLA BATTER: 3. Beat the 150 g butter in a mixing bowl until soft and creamy. 4. Add the cake mix and the 4 eggs at once smooth with the mixer on the lowest setting for ½ minute and then on the highest setting for 2 minutes until a fluffy batter. PREPARE THE CHOCOLATE BATTER: 6. Put ¾ of the batter in the cake tin and smooth the batter. 7. Add Add 50 ml of water and the bag of cocoa mix to the remaining batter and mix briefly but thoroughly. Spread this over the batter in the cake tin. 8. Using a fork, coarsely fold the chocolate batter from the center into the vanilla batter over the length of the cake, also going well over the bottom. Turn the cake tin over and repeat. BAKE: 9. Bake the cake for 60-65 minutes until done and golden brown. 10. After 3-4 minutes you can remove the baking tin and let the cake cool further. TIP: Cake done? Insert a skewer into the center of the cake with a skewer. When the skewer comes out clean, the cake is done.
