This Frisian sliced sausage is made according to a family recipe that has been known throughout Friesland for over 25 years. Pure herbs do the rest. Spread a slice of bread with sliced sausage, optionally with a little mustard. Also delicious as a snack with drinks or on a platter of appetizers. We are Henk and Daan Spijkerman and run our family business in Akkrum, Friesland. In March 2016, we took over the butcher shop from our parents. Now the third generation is at the helm. Our company is known for homemade products that have been awarded 'gold' several times. Among other things, we were named best traditional butcher shop in 2012 and best young butcher of the Netherlands, awards we are very proud of. Characteristic is the mild smoky flavor combined with quality meat.
