Streeckgenoten Veluwe Roast
Veluwe roast is delicious with all kinds of dishes, but just as tasty on a sandwich. Pure pork from Gelderland and Overijssel Beef from Dutch dual-purpose cows We are André and Els van Rhee, the third generation of butchers from the beautiful village of Uddel, in the middle of the Veluwe. Between 1999 and 2003 we took over the butcher’s shop from André’s uncle and father. Meat and sausage-making are in our blood. Over the years we have received several awards, including the Bronze Smoked Sausage. We have also ranked among the best several times in the competition for Best Sausage Maker in the Netherlands. Veluwe roast is so tasty, you just keep eating it. We make this product from finely ground beef and pork. Then comes a well-balanced seasoning based on a specific Veluwe recipe. After letting the meat rest for a day, it is roasted the next day. This creates a beautiful crust that gives a wonderfully crispy flavor.
