This round Chardonnay is full of aromas of exotic fruits such as Mango, pineapple and citrus fruit. It feels nice and soft, with an invigorating freshness. The grapes for this wine grow in Saint Guilhem le Desert, a monastery village near the Gorge de l Herault, not far from Montpellier in Languedoc-Roussillon. The village is built around an Abbey that was founded in the ninth century. Saint Guilhem le Desert is on the list of most beautiful villages in France. That of course makes this full, round Chardonnay even tastier. Delicious to drink on its own and suitable with fish, chicken, pasta and cheese.
