Zovirax Cold Sore Cream accelerates the healing of the cold sore and shortens the period of pain. Works against symptoms of cold sores, from tingling to blisters.

Zovirax Cold Sore
Zovirax (acyclovir) Cold Sore, cream 50 mg/g. Do not use on skin lesions caused by any virus other than herpes simplex, or for fungal, bacterial or parasitic skin infections. Usage
Instructions for use:-
Restrictions on use: Do not use on mucous membranes, such as in the mouth, eye or vagina. Not suitable for the treatment of genital herpes (an STD).
Contraindication: + Hypersensitive to the active ingredient aciclovir, valaciclovir, propylene glycol or to any of the other ingredients of the cream.
Indication: In the treatment of cold sores caused by the herpes simplex virus.
Age indication: from 2 years
Dosage: Dosage: 5x, except at night Max. Daily dosage: 5xDosage: Apply a little cream to the fingertip and from the finger to all affected skin. Try to avoid contact with the blisters, otherwise the infection can spread. Use this medicine for at least 4 days and leave 4 hours between applications. Wash hands before and after use. If the complaint does not improve within 10 days, consult a doctor. Warnings and restrictions on use
- Do not use in children under 2 years of age without consulting a doctor.
- Avoid contact with (the inside of the) mouth.
- Only use on the skin around the mouth and lips.
- Do not spread the cream to prevent the virus from spreading.
