Zuccardi is one of the best wineries in Mendoza. Winemaker Sebastian, third generation, is called a great talent. He succeeded his father and grandfather. If you look closely, Sebastián has been in wine all his life. He knows the region through and through, including the best places to plant grapes. This Chardonnay comes from the high-altitude Tupungato, from vineyards that are located at 1250 meters. There the grapes get a lot of sun, but because it cools down at night, the grapes do not ripen too quickly, but calmly and evenly. They form fragrant aromas and retain their fresh acidity. This wine is a delightful example. It has the opulence of ripe mango and the invigorating of fresh citrus fruit. In the mouth it feels round and creamy. Delicious glass for so, perfect with salmon and other fatty fish, chicken and turkey, Indian curry or simply with a piece of mature farmer's cheese.
